Reason Skills, an Unit of Reason Analytics Softech Pvt Ltd organized a Workshop on AI for Journalism today in association with the Press Club, Kolkata at the Press Club. Mr Snehasis Sur, President of the Press Club in his inaugural address emphasized on the need of knowing and using AI judiciously and the importance of fact checking before using AI.

Mr Biplab Jana, Founder and CEO of Reason Skills spoke about the importance of learning to use Artificial Intelligence responsibly and ethically. Ms Ina Bose, Director Academics of Reason Skills said that we need to get over the fear, anxiety and aversion of using AI.

Ms Bose said that it’s a myth that AI will take over our jobs but it’s definite that AI skilled manpower will take over the jobs of those not knowing how to use AI. The Workshop was attended by around 100 Journalists.
